We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Impact Factor (IF) of Digestive Endoscopy (DEN) is expected to be revised from 3.6 to 5.1.

When the 2025 Impact Factor was announced in June 2026, DEN’s IF was reported as 3.6. Subsequently, an investigation conducted by Wiley identified errors in the classification of 84 items, including Video Articles, Letters, and WEO Newsletters, as citable items by Clarivate.

Following this finding, DEN requested that Clarivate correct the classification of these items and revise the Impact Factor accordingly. We were subsequently informed that DEN’s 2025 Impact Factor was expected to be revised from 3.6 to 5.1.

The revised 2025 Impact Factor of 5.1 is currently listed under “Pending Data Updates” on the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) website and is expected to be officially announced by Clarivate in October 2026.
